GREG LIAKOS

SCHOOL COMMITTEE
Let's Move Wakefield Schools Forward Together!
VOTE
Tuesday, April 30, 2013

Please join us in electing Greg Liakos to the Wakefield School Committee

Last year, while running for Selectman, Greg made support for the new Galvin Middle School a centerpiece of his campaign. He was inspired by conversations with town leaders, parents, and educators who are committed to improving Wakefield's schools.

Greg chose to run for School Committee this year to harness their energy, and to work with the current School Committee, the new Superintendent, teachers and taxpayers to continue that progress together by:

> Expanding early education, strengthening literacy programs, and diagnosing students' learning problems earlier, resulting in more efficient use of taxpayer dollars.

> Creating a strategic plan to address our facilities needs and to improve our buildings so that they are safe, well maintained, and equipped with technology that fosters learning and gives our teachers the tools to do their jobs well.

> Providing strong leadership by working with Dr. Stephen Zrike, Wakefield's new Superintendent, and the current School Committee to build on the momentum created by the support for the new Galvin Middle School and the Superintendent search to make our school system one that every Wakefield citizen can be proud of.

Moving our schools from good to great

On April 30, please cast one of your three School Committee votes for Greg Liakos to provide the leadership Wakefield Schools deserve!
Greg Liakos would like to continue to move our Wakefield schools forward. Greg supported the Galvinize Wakefield campaign knowing the time had come for Wakefield to invest in our community's future.

Greg feels he can directly contribute towards advancing our Town's public education system with new leadership and smart investment. Specifically, the Wakefield School Committee can help the new Wakefield School Superintendent, move further towards making our schools go from "good to great."
